Anyone off to the Education Innovation thingy in Manchester

Notwithstanding that I'll have to dig out my passport for the border crossing from the proper side of the Pennines to the "darkside" - Is anyone else planning visiting the show/conference in Manchester next month?

 

Did anyone go last year (if it was on) and was it worth it?

I went last year and I thought it was pretty good. This year I'm hoping to bring an Assistant Head plus a few pupils for the Raspberry Jamboree event with which it's co-located.

I'm on my way now. ICT co-ordinator was meant to be coming with me but circumstances prevailed.

 

I did a bit of research yesterday and I'm all prepared...I know where there's a good real ale pub for lunchtime. :-D

Update: The Briton's Protection is well worth a lunchtime visit. 5 hand pumps and 300+ whiskies/whiskeys!
