I'm trying to use command reporter to run the following report from SIMS:

sims.jpg

I can get command reporter to extract this report however I wish to change the dates 16dec2013 and 20dec2013 each time I run it from the command line.

I've tried the below so far but this has been unsuccessful.

"C:\Program Files\SIMS\SIMS .net\CommandReporter.exe" /user:XXXXXX /password:XXXXXX /report:"Test Report 1 for SIMS BW CEM" /params:"2014-01-062014-01-06" /output:"test.csv"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First thing I notice is you have a space in your opening DateRange tag - does removing that fix it?

Also, it doesn't look like you ticked "Prompt at run time" on the date filter in SIMS report designer - that needs to be ticked if you want to change the filter at run time

Date Range has no space, must have been a copy paste issue.

"Prompt at run time" is ticked too.

I've notice a lot of examples on this site have a parameter id but I have no idea of where to get that from for the fields in this query.
