Pupil Premium Attendance Stats

I may be being daft here but I can't see any way of getting PP stats from the SIMS attendance module

The vunerable or Star fields don't list the field, all I need is a stat report but for PP students and non PP students

We used Discover to set up dynamic groups for our PP students, then run the Group Session Summary report using Group Type = Discover.

When I select "Discover" from the drop down menu I get no results. Am I missing something?

Have you created the groups using Discover first?

HM_Castle, you need to make sure the group in discover is "dynamic" or it won't show up in regular SIMS.

 

Also, I have created discover groups with PP / SEN etc, but they are only active from when I set the group up, if I want to measure the attendance of the students in these groups weekly from the beginning of the year how do I do it? It will only let me measure from the datethe group was created. Is there a way to override this?

Can you set them up manually as a User Defined Group? (I don't have Discover).

we use UDGs for this - I have discover groups set up as well, but my attendance officer prefers the UDGs

We can do user defined groups, yes, but that means manually putting a couple of hundred kids into a group. Was wondering if we could use Discover to help as that alresy sorts them. Only problem is you can't seem to adjust the group dates

I read on the supportnet forum that the Pupil Premium will be added to either the STAR attendance report or the vulnerable pupil attendance report from the Summer 2014 release. Up until that point it's User Defined Groups I'm afraid.

If you open the discover group up in SIMS, you should be able to change their group dates - but that'd be more work than if you just made UDGs

It's not working, but I might be able to get the data using star field analysis
