Cambs Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Hi, I was wondering if anyone could advise on the following scenario: I have a server running Windows Server 2008 R2 and staff need remote access to it. I have used products that you log into a local server and displays the users files, the files that need to be edited have to be saved to the local machine then uploaded. The data being accessed needs to be kept secure and not taken off the local server has anyone created a solution using webdav ? Thanks.

Not sure I understand the issue, this sounds like an ordinary shared folder with NTFS permissions to me?
Cambs Posted January 28, 2014 Author Posted January 28, 2014 I have been told that Webdev can be installed on the server thought IIS and it creates a web address to enable my staff to access the server from home.

Now I'm with you! You might want to talk to @nickbro and take a look at his (free) product, Home Access Plus+: https://hap.codeplex.com/
