JimmyTown Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 'Nice show, shame about the Gove.' Inside BETT 2014 and BESA/BETT Awards 2014.. What do they mean? | I am six point nine. Especially agree on the final point in the first blog about Apple.
Bompalompalomp Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I heard a few Microsoft reps use that point about Apple to their advantage. "If your headteacher really wants iPads, tell her to speak to the Apple rep at BETT. There isn't one!" The sick burn was numb after hearing it three times.

Whist there were plenty of Apple employees at the show and they also run a large leadership summit at their HQ in London for 500 people while it is on, Apple do not attend any trade shows at all worldwide, it's not just BETT. Thats why they have Education Solution Experts of which there were at least 7 of them with stands at BETT
Dos_Box Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 (edited) All of the big Apple vendors used to club together and have an Apple stand (it was never Apple the company though) up until a few years ago. Now they all have their own. I did notice that they weren't exactly visible as Apple suppliers though. My guess is that one who could have the biggest and most 'Appliest' stand would get the most custom as everyone who didn't know would just assume it's them! Edited February 3, 2014 by Dos_Box
