Ping test every morning and email down

Hey all

 

I'm looking for software or a script that can ping our active directory computers every morning at 6am, and email any computers that don't respond.

 

Our reasoning is we have all our computers WOL at 5am, and we want to see which computers aren't waking up, or are unplugged, etc.

 

A free solution would be best. Thanks!

This sounds like a job for Powershell and a scheduled task.
