Outlook Autocomplete Feature Problems

Dear all,

 

I'm having a nightmare with users sending email to old groups that have been removed from the exchange address because outlook autocomplete is storing them on their profile in the To... field.

 

For example, they type 'a' and it brings up all staff, they click it and try to send the email but it bounces back because it no longer exists or has changed name.

 

From my understanding you can either remove autocomplete feature or you have to get users to remove it from their own account by highlighting the email address and hitting the delete button.

 

Is there a way of removing the entries which are incorrect without having to ask the end user to do it?

I use NK2Edit: Edit AutoComplete files (.NK2) of Microsoft Outlook to edit such things. There is command line support but I haven't used it that way before but I guess a clever log on script wouldn't be out of the question with it. Edited January 20, 2014 by ChrisH

Will this let me remove old entires from say the headteachers outlook without having to install on his machine?
