MagicInfo Pro images

I'm fairly new to MagicInfoPro. After playing around with the software, I decided to rename my photo files on my computer. I then deleted the originals from the MIPro library and tried to re-add them. When I did so, the program tells me that the file already exists. But when I click on images in the library, no images are there. (The files are not hiding under anything else either like Movies or Office etc.) I then tried to bring in a new image file to the computer that I'm sure doesn't exist in the library (and never has) but when I try to add to the library, again the error message reads that the file already exists. Any suggestions? I'm afraid that if I have to reinstall the program I won't get it set up properly to connect to the monitor.
