Edu-IT Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 The version they had at BETT was version 5, I think, which is as yet unreleased? @russdev

Edu-IT Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Only thing different I noticed from the UI was the icons.
DCUK6 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Think weve all given italc a go and experienced the random non recoverable crash that at some point will happen. When getting quotes in for other products we found that although AB tutor looked cheap, when you add up all the teacher licences its actually not as cheap as you thought. If you only have a few classrooms then i would say it would probably work out cheap but 19+ classrooms, not so much.
Roberto Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) If you only have a few classrooms then i would say it would probably work out cheap but 19+ classrooms, not so much. We've got considerably more than 19 classrooms (think about 100) and still think we've got a very competitive quote from AB tutor for a site licence. I'm not going to name various companies and throw numbers around because that's unfair and improper but ABtutor's quote beats the common alternatives, who were considerably more expensive, some by a factor of 4. Edu-IT Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Any screen shots? Impero v5 is due out on Monday 16th. Contact support to book your upgrade if you're licensed. Haven't been able to find out what is new other than the UI and further support for browsers. There is some improvement to the Apple monitoring but it doesn't say what. 1
