How do I make an USB Drive Bootable.?

I am trying to use the HP Boot Utility to make a bootable USB drive for a PC

But is seems to load a Linux OS when i'm looking for DOS.. (maybe I'm useing the wrong settings)

 

I tried to format the USB Drive but the "system files" box is greyed out...

It uses a linux boot loader.

 

If you want to use it to boot to a floppy then just supply it with and image of the floppy or a floppy disc.

Is there anyway you can get XP setup to boot off USB? I want the actual XP setup.. not to run XP itself from USB

There's also a nifty guid eon the wiki that shows how to put UBCD onto a USB drive. From there you could then boot all manner of things.
