He flits from Malaysia to Sark to IOM to Worcestershire and has just left me with his Lenovo C440 that he bought from Amazon and shipped to his Channel Isles address. He got a French version. He's bought Windows 8 UK recovery disks but I can't get the computer to boot from the cd. I've set the boot order to CD first but I'm guessing I need to do something else. I'm fed up with typing strings of text into google translate. I've tried a different computer and that boots from the CD. He is a good mate, so I don't mind doing it for him.
