Greetings,

Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 - 64 Bit

I use these as a direct link to a project web address on our server.

I can sucessfully xcopy ( and overwrite ) an existing url file located in c:\users\david\desktop. The desktop icon is visible and active.

However the original web document address (CAMR2) does not update the way the detail (HGHPL) information does.

I've tried to refresh the desktop.

The only way it is updating is either via a log off / log on or reboot.

Does anyone know of a setting that I am overlooking ?

TIA -David
