School IT Manager

An exciting position has arisen at Moor House School for an IT manager to join this excellent school, located near Oxted in Surrey, with a salary of £26k-£31k depending on experience. MHS is a special school for students from 7-19 with a range of severe speech, language and communication needs. The role requires managing the IT systems and infrastructure, as well as supporting the users. This includes 10 virtual servers and 130 workstations. The right candidate must have worked within a similar environment before and have a good understanding of Windows operating systems, Exchange and Office suites, as well as VMware, Sophos and Smoothwall. The right candidate must have initiative and must be able to train staff. Excellent customer service skills are also needed.

 

Relevant qualifications must be held and references must be supplied, as must proof of the right to work within the UK. The right person will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
