New year sales 2013/14. Where's the geek bargains?

I'm getting a bit miffed. After searching through the usual suspects like Dabs, Scan, Aria, Ebuyer etc. I still can't find anything that I would consider a bargain or sales-worthy.

Has anyone found anything that has leapt out at them in a 'buy me, buy me NOW!!!!' kind of way as I'm pretty sure some of the major sites must have some somewhere.

Honestly I dont think there have been many great sales this year. Only one that lept out at me was lego marvel superheroes on the xb1 for half price in Rgos.

I was thinking the same myself, I have been trawling websites and stores this year for a few things and cant seem to hit anything at a reasonable price

There's been a few interesting bits and bobs listed on hotukdeals under the computers section but nothing really exciting

All I really need is a 2tb USB 2.5" bus powered drive to backup my video collection. Bit boring though and don't feel like spending £85 on it.

Not got gadget stuff only clothing, items I was going to buy at Blacks/cotswolds, I got half price at debenhams.
