elsiegee40 Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 My android tablet has asked for permission to update facebook and I am not happy... it may be about to be uninstalled. I suppose they are at least being open about reading every SMS message, not that I have any on a tablet but you can see my issue. Imust have look to see what the iOS app is up to. 1

Rawns Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Never mind, I found out: https://www.facebook.com/help/210676372433246 Read your text messages (SMS or MMS) | If you add a phone number to your account, this allows us to confirm your phone number automatically by finding the confirmation code that we send via text message.
