speckytecky Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 We have a Mini Mac Server which was expertly set up by a very sound fellow of the Edugeek ilk who I have been unable to contact of recent weeks. I need to add some new Macs to our Workgroup Manager list of Computers but unfortunately I don't have he diradmin password. I have tried resetting it using the Terminal as per the article Mac OS X Server: How to reset the Open Directory administrator password but not being familiar with the Terminal commands somehow nothing changes when I get to the mkpassdb -setpassword ..... bit Anyone able to PM me please with a bit of clarification?
gtg93 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 (edited) Not big with Macs myself but will this do the trick? Mac OS X Server: How to reset the Open Directory administrator password edit: Just realised that's the one you mentioned in the article (couldn't see the command you mentioned on the page at first) sorry.
