Wondered what others would say their top 5 have been, I went for...

 

1. The Last of Us (PS3)

2. Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag (PS4)

3. Grand Theft Auto 5 (PS3)

4. Rocksmith 2014 (PS3)

5. Resogun (PS4)

Its not been a great year for PC games IMO - none of my favourite franchises have released anything. I don't have consoles, so most of the games people have talked about in 2013 haven't made their way over to us yet.

 

However, I will list 2 - Bioshock Infinite and Saints Row IV. Saints Row is massively fun and Bioshock is amazingly beautiful.

Haven't played much either but yeah, Bioshock Infinite is wonderful, probably even more on a PC. Projector with my Xbox sufficed, mind. Might give it a replay now.

I rarely buy brand new games, tend to wait until they drop below £10, so most of them I've been playing won't qualify!

 

In fact, thinking about it, I think there's only Tomb Raider and GTA5 - both excellent but I don't feel qualified to vote!

I've spent most of my year on NHL13 and it's Be A Player mode; being the franchise player of the Edmonton Oilers is fun. Wish they'd trade me though, I'm too good for them (just carried the team to a Stanley Cup, won all the trophies I could myself).

Been a terrible year for me in gaming. New girlfriend, new job, moving twice, renovating house and general life getting in the way I've barely touched my console. I have 3 games from my birthday I still haven't touched. Not even bought GTA yet. Think I shall continue to buy previous gen titles until the dust has settled in the current crop.

Only really a PC gamer so I'm quite limited. This year it's been all about Bioshock Infinite.
