Hi,

My System Center Endpoint Protection definitions have stopped downloading. I can't see any past November in my "All Software Updates" list. I have set the Forefront Endpoint Protection definitions to download, there doesn't seem to be an option for SCEP 2012. The last definition downloaded was KB246184 (1.163.875.0)

The logs are showing thing like this.

 WSUS Synchronization failed.
Message: The operation has timed out.
Source: .

Inventory Data Loader failed to process the file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\inboxes\auth\dataldr.box\Process\H2TEGVT6.MIF because it is larger than the defined maximum allowable size of 5000000.

Solution: Increase the maximum allowable size, which is defined in the registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\SMS\Components\SMS_INVENTORY_DATA_LOADER\Max MIF Size (the default is 5 MB), and wait for Inventory Data Loader to retry the operation.

Does anyone have any thoughts please? Is it just as simple as making the above reg edit?

Thanks
