[sims] Is there a way of finding out when a Register was taken?

As in title, does anyone know of a why of finding out exactly when a register was taken?

you may need to make a change to the register yourself before it shows when the original register was taken as this only shows changes

I've ran that report, but it does not show when it was initially taken, just the time of the change.

 

even if i make a change, it still just shows when the change was made and not the first time the mark was made, if you know what i mean

I've always thought this should be possible as it's a legal requirement, but i don't think it is easily found. I'm sure it logs it as the class supervisor as the person that did it as well, which it might not even be. The changes are accurate though, from what i've seen.

I think you'd have to scour the database directly to try and find a timestamp on the marks.

Hi, has anyone had any luck with this? I feel like I'm constantly chasing staff members who have not marked registers to find that they mark them when my back is turned and then claim they were there all along!

Use the missing registers homepage widget. If you send them a message through that, you can rightly claim that at the time, the system showed the register as unmarked.
