Ctrl Alt Del

Hi

 

We have disabled UAC via GPO and now we can use vnc to view but it wont allow Ctrl Alt Del when the pc is not logged in or locked. Does anybody have a solution?

Your VNC viewer should have a 'Send Ctrl+Alt+Del' option in the program options for just such a purpose - TightVNC Viewer has it if you right-click the title bar.

Thanks for the reply it does but it does not work. Its after I have turned UAC off that has caused the problem.

What VNC package are you using? I do know Tight VNC will be ok with this.

You need to set the following reg key:

 

[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]

"SoftwareSASGeneration"=dword:00000001
