LosOjos Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Hi all, I'm looking to buy my brother a gamepad for his HTC one for Christmas, as he loves playing retro games via emulator on it but hates the on screen controls (understandably). Problem is, there are so many! I've already done the obligatory Google search and that has narrowed it down somewhat, but before I make a decision I wondered if any of you actually own gamepads that you would recommend? I want to get him something with a phone holder as the idea of sitting your phone on the table while you play seems a bit pointless - surely the idea is to emulate a handheld console? Anyway, over to you
X-13 Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Moga Pro? Regular Moga? Disclaimer: I have neither of these. They're just the first thing I thought of.
Oaktech Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 For the amount they cost, the Archos Gamepad is a whole device with the required controls... archos gamepad - Google Search

LosOjos Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 Then I retract my suggestion! It looks like a good bit of kit but I'm a cheapskate
LosOjos Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 Moga Pro? Regular Moga? Disclaimer: I have neither of these. They're just the first thing I thought of. The Moga looks like the right idea but has some awful reviews online, the Moga Pro has better reviews but isn't particularly portable... I think this is going to end up being a stab in the dark...
LosOjos Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 On balance, I figure he doesn't go out all that much so will mostly be using this at home, went for the Moga Pro
