Sophos UTM iPad

On our machines we install the Sophos Authentication agent put in our AD credentials for the internet to work, if you don't have this you get access to select few websites we choose.

 

A few of our lads have iPad's but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent to install, even playing with the authentication settings in wireless for the proxy make no different, does a setting have to be changed on the UTM for these to bypass it as such or can you login via a weblink or some other way?

If it's anything like the sophos web appliance you shouldn't need to use a client you should have a captive portal / transparent filtering option.

Will have to get on to the UTM and take a look when I get sorted. I'm hoping there will be a transparent filtering option.

Switch to transparent mode and authentication browser and apply the filtering policies to AD users or groups.
