Pocket Digi Cam: Which one?

The wife want's a small digi camera for Christmas. Being 'Black Friday' online, I'm hoping to snap up a bargain quick. It's been a long time since I last looked at the them and not too sure what I should look for in one. If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations, feel free to share.
