[ms office - 2013] Default printing size in some office apps

I'm finding that some applications such as Powerpoint, publisher etc want to default to printing in LTR size, which just gets stuck in our printer queue and causes us issues.

 

The printers are all set to default to A4 as you'd expect, and I've checked for any group policies etc.

 

Does anyone have a method of forcing the default print size in these programs to A4 instead of LTR? or is this likely a different issue such as the printer setup, as i don't see anyone else bringing this up as a problem.
