You will be assisting with production of online and printed materials, displays, newsletters, events, blogs, website updates, social media, posters and other print/digital signage. The role will also include regular compilation of website, newsletter and social media content. You, will support the team in researching and gathering information through internal/external data in order to inform projects and development. You will provide evaluation of campaigns/website through analytics, gathering feedback data and helping with surveys. The Person The successful candidate will be experienced in disseminating and writing accurate and accessible on and off-line content including for social media. You will have experience of creating, publishing and maintaining content for the Web. In order to be successful in this role you will have well-developed interpersonal skills, and will be able to liaise and build relationships with staff, and external suppliers. The Department Information Services is comprised of four sections: Customer Support, Library Collections and IT Development together directly support almost all areas of University activity, and the Planning and Administration section supports the work of the department. A strong emphasis is placed on user support and all provision is targeted as closely as possible to user needs. In line with the University’s strategic direction on information management, further emphasis is now being placed on the importance of increased electronic information provision, with a view to making more effective provision in some areas and developing new provision in others.
