CyberNerd Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 we are starting to use IBM director - not for auditing but for image deployments, running remote scripts etc. it also does hardware/software inventory. It's still early days for us at the moment but it looks good so far http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/management/director/ OCS is free and rather good. http://sourceforge.net/projects/ocsinventory/ neither limit your flexibility wrt operating systems
