ICT Network Manager, Northamptonshire

Millbrook Junior school in Kettering are looking for an ICT Network Manager.

Advert as follows:

 

Salary : Grade G pt 19 – 22 (£17, 980 - £19, 817) pro rata

 

40 weeks per year (term time plus two weeks)

 

22.5 hours per week (8.00 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. Mon – Fri)

 

We are looking for someone to be responsible for the management, maintenance and development of all ICT equipment and the school network, inclusive of:

 

• staff training and support

• provision of technical advice and support for the whole schools needs including curriculum and administrative related activities

• management of the school website and learning platform

 

A love of children, being a team player and the appropriate IT competency skills to oversee a busy network are essential for this role.

Just spoke to the Bursar about the job. It could well be a position split over 2 schools, salary for this school in real terms is a shade over £9'400 (so barely taxable). Seems like a nice enough place, but they're very new to the IT role and need proper guidance (as per my understanding).
