MyFiles settings for Groups do not show Drives

Hi Nick,

great piece of software. We mostly have our copy working (9.6) but to see any drives at all in the MyFiles section we have to set access to 'All'. We can view the AD groups fine in the selector, our STAFF group for instance is part of our GlobalGroups in the AD (we are part of a Forest). However, once we save the drive with a value of STAFF derived with the selector thus:

 

The drive does not show on the My Files of a user who is a member of the group.

 

Any ideas?

The only thing I can think of is because it's a forest. I've never tested it in these conditions. Does students work?

Hi Nick, thanks for the answer - alas no -doesn't seem to function for student either. Must be the forest. I spent some time trying to see if I could get reasonable return on 'memberof' using PHP - I don't code in ASP personally - and there wasn't a lot of success even when using the Global Catalogue.
