Mobile numbers tracing

we think we might have someone using the schools phones to call a mobile number, problem is we cannot identify the number being called, does anyone know if we can get the mobile numbers owner details? or is this minefield?

Do you mean you know the number but cant identify the person whos phone it is? if so call from a withheld number and play marketing caller ? can you confirm your name please....
