LosOjos Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 BBC News - TV by candlelight as power goes out at Dutch TV station A sports programme on Dutch public television ended up being broadcast by candlelight on Sunday after a power cut at the TV station. Tests being carried out by the electricity supply company took all public broadcasting channels in the Netherlands off-air for more than half an hour when back-up batteries ran out. Verity Wilde reports. If the power was out, how were they broadcasting anything? Is this not more a story of "TV Presenters Panic, Carry on as Normal Despite Lack of Audience"
