I don't get the voting. Yesterday, La Paz dropped behind apparently stripped of votes. Bristol surged ahead with way more votes for the day than has been usual. Overnight, La Paz has had a surge in votes and isn't far behind again.

Anyway, I am pleased that Bristol is still ahead, we have voted and am still encouraging everyone else to vote!

La Paz are 12,000 plus in front now. I understand this is being investigated, so please keep voting. Hopefully they will be disqualified and the next group down from us will get the 4,000 euro prize.

@creese sounds very odd!

La Paz has put on 30000 plus votes today.... huh?!

There is some chat on Twitter about voting discrepancies. I'm not into Twitter or Spanish, so none the wiser.

They have added as many votes today as they got through most of the contest.

The latest is that the winners will be announced at the end of this week. Why so long when they say they stand by the votes recieved.

A lot of bad feeling in Bristol, regardless of our placing, about the sudden unannounced hiding of votes and the suggestions of improper voting which was then denied by Medline.

Thanks to all those who voted I'm sure we will get 2nd place and we all did it for a good cause. Next time I'll arrange fundraising rather than give Medline publicity.

I suspect that they do not have the technology to prove improper voting in the same way as they did not have the technology to prevent improper voting. I suspect that they will think hard before launching a competition with an online vote again.

I'm not so sure. Maybe in Europe, maybe they don't know our history with Spain :rolleyes:. It's about their 2nd or 3rd year in the US.

I certainly don't think they had any idea what they were getting into.
