ZiLink for Moodle version 3 & guardian access

Hi,

 

Is anyone else running ZiLink for Moodle v3?

 

We had ZiLink installed for the first time during the summer holidays, one of the main reasons we purchased it was to replace the awful SLG. Having it done during the holidays did have the issue that ZiLink couldn't pickup the student data, but no worry, we were primed ready to get things running on the 1st day of term, for us a teacher training day.

 

After much banging of heads against the wall trying to figure out why we couldn't get it working, we found that the ZiLink guardian part isn't written yet for v3. After many approximate release dates which keep getting pushed back, we're now 2 months into the term with still no parental access and still no fixed release date.

 

I wondered how other schools which have upgraded to v3 are coping? Presumably nobody else who's upgraded has parental access either? Or has everyone via some psychic method known to avoid upgrading?

 

If I'm missing something, do let me know!
