Bulk Ethernet?

At the risk of appearing a bit dense, what's the difference between an

Intel I350-T2 Bulk Ethernet Server Adapter (Intel I350-T2 Bulk Ethernet Server Adapter (I350T2BLK) - dabs.com)

 

and an

Intel I350-T2 Ethernet Server Adapter (Intel I350-T2 Ethernet Server Adapter (I350T2) - dabs.com)

One of our fileservers caused yet another LAN storm by jabbering this morning, so it's getting a new card - "Bulk Ethernet" is a new one on me, and I can't see any difference in the specs apart from the name.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there... no such thing as "bulk ethernet"... I suspect it's the packaging.

I suspect it's the same as OEM - no packaging and probably no driver disc etc... just download it all from Intel's website.

The spec on the non BLK actually says its 10gb (in places) but I suspect thats a typo since the model no. is the same!
