[bug/error] issue when quoting someone

If I quote someone who in their own post has quoted others I only get the person who I'm quoting text not all of them.

Yes but it doesn't mean to say that it is not an issue - as I think it would be better if it gave or you had the option to include all quotes or not when quoting !!

It has always been that way, the reason if I recall is to prevent massive issues with nested quotes upon nested quote. The basic idea is to use http://staticc3.cdngeek.net/images/buttons/viewpost-right.png next to the persons name to go to the quoted post.

Ideally I think it should just keep a reference to the fact the quote had nested quotes, not show them. Things could get very messy in threads if people were to use the "Reply with Quote" link on the bottom right of posts.

I dont think its a flaw, it just needs to make it clearer you're missing out on nested quotes that would not be shown so click x icon to go to the post.

hmmm trouble is the post I wanted to quote earlier makes no sense if the previous quote is not included.

Hrm the only work around is the use the multi quote button http://staticc3.cdngeek.net/images/buttons/multiquote-back_40b.png on the right of each post then edit them around to be sequential.
