Networked printer asking for drivers on every log in.

Hi all! I've got an HP laserjet at a new site im supporting and it's deployed using a batxh script along with all the other printers in the school. However, everytime a user with that script logs on they get a prompt asking to install the drivers, even if they've logged on to that machine, installed the drivers abd restarted. How can I make the machine / user profile either A: remeber that the print driver is installed or B: install the driver silently (the batch script uses the /q switch but this doesnt seem to have an affect)

What OS are the workstations / server and are the 32/64 bit?
