Value for Windows Reg Key

Hi All

 

I am creating a MSI package, as part of this MSI it create some reg keys in

 

HKLM > Software > Company Name > Software Title

 

One of these keys I am trying to create is installed date, but I am not sure what value to add, so for example when the MSI is installed 3 months later if I was to browse to the above location in the system registry I could see a date value in a reg key which says this program was installed on 22/12/2012

 

Can anyone advise?

It depends on your MSI program normally, but you can usually do things like [Date] and it'll pick it, but really depends on software etc
