Backup Exec and Backup 2 disk folders.

I am currently using Backup exec which has been great for what we back up. I normally run a full backup to disk and tape on Saturday and Sunday with incremental to both during the week.

 

I am using a HP X1600 with 12 x 1 TB drives for the backup storage as well as other things like pupil Areas and shared resource area, most of the space has been set in 6 1 TB RAID 1 arrays, the trouble is my backups have grown to exceed 1TB and so the b2d folders run out of space while backing up.

 

Is there a way to take space on the less used 1TB arrays and add additional b2d folders to the full backup job so that it automatically switches to these overflow areas while backing up or do I have to look at other solutions?

Think I may have worked it out, device pools
