Spam emails on exchange 2007

Good afternoon all..

 

We have been receiving 100's of emails to most of our users with their own email address. No attachments.. No Links just an email at the bottom.

 

Any idea how to block these? We have tried to block the IP but it seems they are using more then one server to do this. Also i was thinking about blocking with the subject but they vary.

 

Any ideas would be great. Also. What do they achieve with this?

To be honest i didnt even set it up. I think we use the Microsoft one? I know i'm going to look like a complete noob now -.-

Thanks Sukh, that's what we already have installed on the server.

 

Just trying to work out how to block it if its been delivered like explained.

You need a number of configs, to help prevent spam.

1. Have you setup SPF records?

2. What agents have you got enabled?
