[ms office - 2010] when creating a new task the date picker does not work (Quite urgent )

When one of our users creates a new task and then tries to select the date using the date picker. it appears the dissapears instantly not letting the user select a date.

 

if the user types the date everything is fine.

 

anyone know what can be causing this.
