[sims] AM7 No Longer Appends Numbers to Columns

So I remember reading about this in the Summer release notes but it didn't occur to me how inconvenient this would be until I've come to use it. I use a lot of formulae in my templates and with no number to differentiate identical aspects, it makes things much more difficult. I know I can manually add the numbers but that takes time I really don't have.

 

So, is there anyway to turn this "feature" back off?

I could have sworn i read it was turned off again, maybe i dreamt it. What version are you on 7.152 or 7.153?

I don't see how it takes the number off without complaining about duplicate names.

7.152 - it allows you to have duplicate names. Real PITA when trying to work out a formula

 

Hopefully you're right about it being removed in 7.153 - I'd love to know if there was a CR asking for this "feature" or if it was just a random bright spark idea someone who doesn't have to use the thing dreamt up one morning!

It was a change request to removal of the "~"but there were unintended consequences. Fixed in Summer 2 and undoubtedly a very annoying mistake.
