Dreamweaver CS5 not displaying navigation bar drop down menu when viewed in I.E

We have created a fireworks drop down navigation bar and exported it as a HTML file.

 

When the file is viewed in fireworks we can see that the drop down menu works.

 

As soon as the HTML file is inserted as an image object then viewed in browser the drop down menu is not working.

 

We also have the same problem when we insert the spry menu bar and view it in the browser we are not able to see the drop down menus.
