I have recently moved one of the shared area to the new fileserver. I have changed the Group Policy under UC-PREF-WINDOWS SETTINGS-DRIVE MAPS to point to the new server, however, none of the teachers, kids, etc are getting the new drive?!

Why would this be and can you give me a few tips? I have recently inherited this and everyone is already using a login.exe logon script to deploy printers. Don't ask- I have no idea how to modify that!! that's for another post I reckon!

When I ran robocopy to copy files, was there something else I was supposed to do? thanks for reading.

With a GPO for this, if you have it set to update (a current inplace drive map will be left alone until its disconnected). If you use replace. The Drive is disconnected and remapped every logon.

I suggest using replace. This is what i had to do with the same issue when we installed our new DAS
