Apologies if I have stuck this in the wrong Forum but to me it's a defo "How do you do it?" topic!!

On my home Network I have four printers set up. Kodak C315 wireless Printer, Samsung ML2250 and a Brother HL-3040CN. The latter two are LAN connected to an EE router. They have in the past all printed perfectly with Windows 7 and 8 clients but post updates a few months ago are all visible still and coming up as 'ready' but sending anything to them and it doesn't print.

I have tried Firewall settings (Kaspersky, Windows and Sophos) but the problem doesn't seem to be Firewall related. They are on RAW Protocol with Port 9100 and I notice the web interface for the printers is not viewable via a browser either but it used to be. Probably something totally obvious I'm missing, I'm pretty sure it's to do with Updates, can anyone suggest what it might be please?

first of all I would query your ability to count, you say you have 4 printers but list 3 :D

Can you ping the printer?

Can you get to the web interface from your smart phone?

Does the print stay in the queue?

Is it all 3 ( 4 if there is a mystery one ) printers or just one?

Any errors in the event log?

Does it only happen when your on WIFI on the computer? What if you connect on a lan cable?

Well spotted Rob @twin--turbo my bad! I initially thought I still had an HP inkjet connected as well but it's been recycled now as it's cartridges were not lasting any time at all and cost a shed load of money to replace.

No no the web interface does not come up own any.

The Samsung and Brother are connected by cat5 to the EE router and come up in devices as ready. However, any print sent to them does not appear in the print queue at all. The annoying thing was it was all working fine.

The Wifi Kodak does print ok it I don't believe their claim on best value for ink use as it seems to roar through cartridges!

I haven't had a look at the event log yet - good pointer, thanks.

On the Samsung and Brother printers, can you print a confg page from the menu system? If so, does the ip address match the ip that the printer is set up on?

Have you changed the EE router recently?
