We're looking for an engineer to immediately start in our ever expanding support department. Although the role is support you will also be able to progress into a systems / network engineer role. You will be helping our end customers setup and diagnose problems with Internet connections Fortinet Firewall solutions Lightspeed filtering & MDM Office 365 VPN IPS AD Integration Bespoke network solutions VPLS & MPLS tunnels Hosted VoIP Telephony and SIP trunking DNS Servers The role is primarily desk based although you may be asked to travel anywhere in the UK from time to time for specific customer installations should the solution require it. Ideally you will have skills in VPN General IP security Knowledge of Windows Server General TCP / IP and other networking protocols knowledge DNS Internet connectivity solutions (xdsl, leased line etc) Fault finding Be good at understanding customer problems / predicaments and be able to explain a technical solution to generally none technical people Please send all CV's / questions to [email protected] Thanks and good luck! You must be a Manchester United fan then? :-) We are based in ilkley just west of Leeds right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, it's a lovely place
