[sims] SIMS Attendance by class code

Good afternoon,

 

I am required to analyse the attendance of last years booster classes. I have tried to create my own report but cannot seem to do it successfully. Then I saw the SIMS report called "Lesson Attendance by Classes" located via Reports > Lesson Monitor > Whole Group Student Reports.

 

The problem with this report is I cannot output it to Excel so that I can create a pivot table.

 

Any advice will be hugely appreciated.

When you print, instead of the default choose to save as a file, and choose type .xml - it's not excel-ified, but you can force it to open in Excel if you suppress the errors and it's not bad.

Or, accept the default output to webpage then copy and paste the data to Excel, usually works well with only minor adjustments needed.

I tried the copy and paste but unfortunately it needs a lot of editing. I will try the XML version
