Mandatory Profiles Not Setting via GPO

I have set mandatory profiles to be applied to our staff and students when they log on to one of are Remote desktop session host via a GPO which is linked to the OU of the servers they are logging into however this just does not get applied I have tried enforcing but this did not work.

 

This all worked previously on our 2k3 domain however this was done using a setting in each users AD profile which you cannot use in 2008 as it have changed.

 

Any suggestions.

 

The profiles are stored in a share defined on the gpo as \\server.fqdn\MandatoryProfiles\Staff or student

you can use that setting in 2008 i do and if i had to guess if thats still set it may overide gpo
