Very peculiar - not accesing Google in school

I've a teacher whoes brought their own Mac into school - no problem with that - but it seems to have an aversion to going on Google or Google ?????

 

All other sites I can test (BBC etc) work fine - Bing works but Google - no!!!

 

She says its fine at home

 

Any clues as to what might be causing this?

 

I know little about these pretty toys

check if you can ping google dns servers 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 if you can do a tracert

Try deleting the cache in Safari, reboot the Mac and try turning the WiFi off/on.
