Meraki and iPads

I have successfully for Meraki working the Ipads and its going well but just wanted to make sure I am doing it right. I have the setting on the iPad which syncs the apps on all the ipads using the same account. This works well as when I deploy an app I just have to put the iTunes password in one of them and it syncs to them all. This works fine but now I am looking at paid apps. I have a VPP account set up, I have seen the codes bit in Meraki to put the codes in but will the deployment work as before where I just have to put the code in once?

 

Also, if I wanted to deploy an apps to just 10 iPads will the sync apps override the tag in the console (or have I misunderstood the syncing of apps altogether?)

I think I understand what you are trying to say; With Paid Apps not originating from a Mac-secure source server, all the apps have to be authenticated, so if you put 10 codes it, you will have to type in your Apple ID password onto each device. If you use Mac Server with Profile Manager, it does it transparently.

Mmmmm. I don't seem to be able to search for apps on meraki this morning which is a pain as I have 2 paid for apps to deploy. IOS7 to blame?

Perhaps the iTunes API, that Meraki uses has changed

Very frustrating, it either spins saying loading or comes up with no results. Meraki phone support has me on a long waiting list for help... I hope the fact that it is free doesn't mean they won't help.

Oh good someone else with the loading problem, I've logged a ticket with them
