Hi All

Have just upgraded to Win7 over the holidays and have included ie10 on the image - I am seeing that the kids are getting to see inappropriate image and videos on sites such a youtube. This didn't happen before the holidays and I'm guessing that they had been managed by content advisor through a GP.

We have Server 2008R2 so I understand that the GP models wont work on IE10 - has anyone worked out a fix? otherwise I guess I will be going back at least 1 or 2 versions ;-(

thanks in advance

I had some computers come in with Windows 7 with IE10 preinstalled as well. Ended up removing IE10 and replacing it with IE9. Even then after updates the Proxy for IE was not getting picked up and I had to go into Group Policy and reinsert the proxy details in IE8 settings - that seems to have worked.

However, I notice that the latest MS updates include IE10 as a default. I have un-ticked where I have seen it but I find it very annoying that MS has released IE10 before it's network compatible!

Are you guys without a wsus server? Or a proxy filter? There might be a ie10 blocker you can get ms did 1 for xp sp 3 . If you have wsus you can not approve it.

We have a WSUS server but it's not something I have a huge knowledge of. Over the past coup,e of months I haven't had updates seeking approval - clearly something I need to investigate. However, updates are getting pushed out?
