rbd12345 Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 At the moment I currently have Skype installed on my server and is installed on all clients via GPO. But at the moment their is a Skype desktop icon that I would like to get rid of for all users/clients and I would like to do the same with the startup function. As Skype opens up every time a user logs in. Please help!!
MordyT Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Icon can be easily removed with GPP. Set a delete file operation, it is what we do wirh impero. Startup is harder, but see if it makes a run regedit that can be removed with... GPP
MordyT Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 How would I do this? In GPO Computer settings. Preferences. Files. Delete. Provide path to link in the public desktop.
Arthur Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 For future reference, if you have an MSI that adds shortcuts to your desktop and various other things, it is better to delete these from the installer prior to deployment with an MST. http://i.imgur.com/wnNWGYA.png
